Introduction to Human Biology Lab (BIOL 6)
A laboratory course designed to complement BIOL 5. A one-semester human anatomy and physiology laboratory course. Exercises include anatomical language, microscopy, membrane transport processes, skeletal muscle contraction, cardiology, blood pressures, pulmonary ventilation, and enzymatic digestion. The anatomy of eleven organ systems is also included. Corequisite: Student must be concurrently enrolled in, or have completed BIOL 5 with a grade of C or higher. BIOL 6 is a prerequisite for the LVN program. Units: 1. Class Hours 54 lab total.
